“I’ve been playing golf for over 65 years starting in grade school. My first games were played at MPCC with my grandparents. I started in the junior tourneys when age available and played alot at Studebaker (losing many balls along Ewing). Enclosed is a SBT article of my greatest victory. Love the game.”

“I played regularly at Studebaker in the 70’s, but my brother Fred didn’t play golf. He decided he wanted to try, so we shared my clubs on his first round of golf. It was a downhill Par 3, but he used a driver to head in the direction of the hole. A few seconds later, 2 guys came running up the hill to ask “Who just hit that hole-in-one”? My brother had his first and only hole-in-one on his one and only round of golf. It was a story in the SB Tribune the next day.”
